Thank you for choosing to work with Rested Mama.  Support from Rhian is not a substitute for medical, nutritional, psychological, or therapeutic care, and it is also not a substitute for counselling, diagnosis, treatment or any other type of medical care.  Please consult your doctor or other suitably qualified professional if you have any concerns regarding you or your child’s health or wellbeing.

Guarantees

Coaching with Rhian is educational, informative and supportive.  Rhian does not guarantee a particular outcome or result, or within a particular timeframe.  She never uses cry-it-out, controlled crying, or modified versions of it.

Rhian will endeavour to provide you with current, evidence-based, compassionate, developmentally and age appropriate, respectful information that fits with your parenting style and does not compromise attachment or responsive parenting.  Rhian will not ask you to do anything you do not feel comfortable with, and there will never be a requirement for you to stop breastfeeding or bed-sharing (when applicable) as long as this is in the best interests of you and your child.

Equality and non-discriminatory practice

Rhian promotes an inclusive, non-judgmental service, and will not knowingly discriminate against anyone on the basis of their race, sexual orientation, parenting style, disability, cultural beliefs, marital status or religion. Please let Rhian know if there is anything you would like her to be aware of.

Scope of practice

By choosing to work with Rhian, you understand that she will not tell you what to do, but will work with you to find a solution that is sustainable for your family.  Rhian will make suggestions and provide education and information based on her training and experience. You are responsible for whether you choose to implement any suggestions offered.

In particular, by choosing to work with Rhian, you agree that:

  1. You will work within safe sleep guidelines (please visit https://www.lullabytrust.org.uk/safer-sleep-advice/ for current and up to date guidelines)
  2. You will disclose any relevant medical problem that may have a bearing on sleep
  3. If part of the membership, videos, trainings, materials, and information from group calls should not be shared with other third parties
  4. If working 1:1, sleep plans and materials should not be shared with other third parties

1:1 Availability

If working with Rhian 1:1, here's how the unlimited support period works:

  • the start date will be mutually agreed
  • the onus is on the client to get in touch when needed
  • calls must be pre-arranged at least 24 hours in advance 
  • emails and messages will be answered ASAP, but guaranteed within 6 hours between working hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Refunds

Due to the Guarantees and Scope of Practice sections above, Rhian is unable to offer refunds for 1:1 coaching.
